OTTAWA, Oct. 31, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Today, the Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, congratulated
Air Canada and the Air Canada Pilots Association on ratifying a historic 10-year agreement for the nearly 3,000 member pilots. The new agreement was reached following months of hard work between the parties in direct negotiations, which were undertaken well before the expiry of their current agreement.
- Air Canada is Canada's largest domestic and international airline, serving more than 180 destinations on five continents.
- It provides scheduled passenger service directly to 60 Canadian cities, 49 destinations in the United States and 73 cities in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Mexico and South America.
