Photo Opportunity: 11,800 Canadian Flags to Remember Our Fallen Heroes
TORONTO, Oct. 25, 2017 /CNW/ - On Thursday, November 2, the third annual ceremony honouring Canadian Armed Forces members who made the ultimate sacrifice will take place at Manulife's global headquarters in Toronto.
As a gesture of gratitude and remembrance, approximately 11,800 Canadian flags will be planted on the front lawn of our global headquarters to honour more than 118,000 members of the Canadian Armed Forces who have fallen in service from the days of the South African War to the Afghanistan mission, as well as peacekeeping missions.

When: Thursday, November 2 at 10:30 a.m. (media are encouraged to arrive at 10:15 a.m.)
Where: 200 Bloor St. E., Toronto, Ontario - front lawn of Manulife's global headquarters

The flag garden will remain on display until sundown November 11th.
