TORONTO, July 9 /CNW/ - Here we go again! Lottery players in Ontario have the chance to once again win big, as the estimated jackpot for tonight's LOTTO MAX draw is $43 million.
"LOTTO MAX is all about bigger jackpots happening more frequently, and we are excited when the jackpot grows this quickly, especially now at an estimated $43 million," said Wendy Montgomery, Vice-President of Lottery Marketing at Ontario Lottery and Gaming.
On June 25, a winning ticket in Saskatchewan and a winning ticket in Newfoundland shared the $50 million LOTTO MAX jackpot. In addition, there were 17 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets in Ontario, from a total of 49 draws.
Since the game launched in September 2009, LOTTO MAX players in Ontario have won just under $154 million in prizes, including three jackpot wins and 45 MAXMILLIONS prizes.
Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 9 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. ENCORE is also available on LOTTO MAX for $1.
Group players should always identify each group member with a signature on group play forms to confirm their contribution. Helpful Group Play forms are available at www.OLG.ca.
