By investing in the production capacity of enterprises, the Government of Canada is standing by its commitments and helping businesses expand, innovate and export their products to create high-quality jobs and ensure the prosperity of our national and regional economies.
The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of International Trade, acting on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED, announced that Atelier Kustom Inc. (website in French only) has been granted $57,000 in financial assistance, in the form of a repayable contribution, to improve its productivity and increase its production capacity.
Founded in 2007, Atelier Kustom specializes in the design, manufacture and machining of custom stainless steel parts and equipment. The funding awarded through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program (QEDP) will help Atelier Kustom acquire high-performance equipment to more effectively address its operational needs.
"We care about the development of our SMEs, so I am very pleased to confirm our government's support for this dynamic young business. With the vision of its directors and the hard work of its employees, the company now has access to resources that will help accelerate its growth. This is a great success story, right here in Saint-Cuthbert!"
