TORONTO, July 20, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - VIA Rail Canada (VIA Rail) wishes to inform its passengers that due to work block between Sarnia and London, exceptionally, alternative transportation will be provided tonight and tomorrow morning between Sarnia and London.
Next trains to operate are:
July 20th
- #87 scheduled at 17h40 from Toronto to London: regular train service
#87 scheduled at 21h14 from London to Sarnia: exceptionally, alternate transportation will be provided
July 21st
- #84 scheduled at 6h10 from Sarnia to London: exceptionally, alternate transportation will be provided
#84 scheduled at 7h32 from London to Toronto: regular train service - #87 scheduled at 17h40 from Toronto to London: regular train service
- #87 scheduled at 21h14 from London to Sarnia: : exceptionally, alternate transportation will be provided
After July 21st, service between Sarnia and London will resume when VIA rail receives the confirmation from the infrastructure owner that the work is completed and its regular service can resume.
An incident with a freight train yesterday in Strathroy forced VIA Rail to cancel trains operating between Toronto and Sarnia yesterday and this morning.
