Travel advisory - Temporary VIA Rail service modifications in Southwestern Ontario on November 30th and December 1st 2013 Français
MONTREAL, Nov. 29, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - VIA Rail Canada (viarail.ca) wishes to inform its passengers that due to work improvements to the railway in Southwestern Ontario, the following changes will affect trains 72, 73, 75, 76, 79, 80 and 81 on November 30 and December 1, 2013. Normal services are expected to resume on December 2, 2013.
- Stops at Oakville are suspended - passengers are advised to embark and debark at Aldershot;
- A detour between Toronto and Aldershot will cause a delay of 40 to 60 minutes;
- Trains 71, 78, 97 and 98 will be replaced by a bus service between Oakville and Toronto.
