TORONTO, Oct 5 /CNW/ - Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation ("OLG") announced today that it has released a Request for Pre-qualification ("RFPQ") for an opportunity to operate Casino Rama.
The RFPQ has been posted to the MERX Canadian Tenders website (www.MERX.ca\olg).
A subsequent Request for Proposal ("RFP") process is expected to begin in early 2011. This RFP will be open to those proponents who pre-qualified through the RFPQ process.
Pre-qualified proponents must be registered with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario ("AGCO") to operate a commercial casino in Ontario. The registration process includes filing a completed application with the AGCO and paying the required fees, prior to receiving the RFP.
