Held Inside Leonardo da Vinci's Workshop, Expert Panel Includes Kobo Founder Michael Serbinis
TORONTO, Jan. 30, 2012 /CNW/ - The Ontario Science Centre is set to explore the theme of modern innovation in its first-ever Facebook Live event, which will be held inside Leonardo da Vinci's Workshop: The Exhibition. Called "Inspiring Inventiveness: Beyond da Vinci," the 45-minute live discussion runs Feb. 2nd and will examine da Vinci's amazing contributions to modern invention and how his spirit can spur young minds toward invention in such a different world. Is today's generation perhaps better equipped to make new discoveries and change the world? What can we learn from one of history's great geniuses?
Media are invited to participate in this unique event whose four-person panel of experts includes Canadian innovator Michael Serbinis, president of Kobo - a leading global eReading company, as well as da Vinci expert and exhibition curator Massimiliano Lisa. It will be led by special guest and moderator, Wendy Mesley, who will also take questions from a live Facebook audience.
