McCue replaces outgoing Chair Professor Thomas H.B. Symons as Chair from 2010, until stepping down this past March.
"I'm delighted to be the new Chair of the Board of the Ontario Heritage Trust, following in the footsteps of Lincoln Alexander and Tom Symons, among others. Having served as the Vice-Chair for the past three years, I know the important work the Trust delivers for the people of Ontario. We have a terrific volunteer board with many skill sets that serve the Trust very well. The Board is complemented by a superb staff and a first-rate executive leadership. I'm looking forward to continued work with my Board colleagues and the Trust's administration and staff."
