/CNW/ - A decade of great gaming, strong community partnership and local economic benefits was celebrated today as Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) marked the tenth anniversary of OLG Casino Brantford with a cake-cutting with patrons and employees.
"Since the opening of Casino Brantford ten years ago, OLG has enjoyed a strong community partnership with the City of Brantford and its residents," said Senior Vice
President Gaming Larry Flynn
. "We're proud that through this partnership, the City of Brantford has been able to support important local programs and initiatives, and we look forward to many more successful years serving this community."
The facility has created approximately 911 direct jobs with annual wages and benefits of
$38.4 million
, which is reinvested into the community through the purchase of personal goods and services by employees.
As the host community for OLG Casino Branford, the City of Brantford has received more than
$37.9 million
in non-tax gaming revenue since the facility opened.

states, "OLG Corporate and Casino Brantford have been great partners with the City of Brantford over the last 10 years. We enjoy an excellent working relationship with them and are grateful of the many contributions they have made to the Brantford community over this period."
OLG has also been a proud community sponsor of the Brantford's

Festival, the 6th Annual Mayor's Moonlight Gala, and Doors Open Brant 2009.
OLG Casino Brantford is owned, operated and managed by OLG. The facility offers approximately 508 slot machines and has attracted more than 16.5 million visitors since opening.
