TORONTO, May 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Hannu Ylanko, Vice President, National Sales for Mercedes-Benz Canada, recently joined Sylvester Chuang, Dealer Principal of Three Point Motors - Nanaimo, and Dealership General Manager Peter Trzewik, to celebrate the grand opening of a new retail facility in Nanaimo, BC. The expansive new structure erected at 2472 Kenworth Road will replace the current Three-Point Motors Nanaimo location, and will now operate as Mercedes-Benz Nanaimo.
Conveniently located at the commercial heart of Nanaimo, the 14,000 square foot building represents a considerable investment in the area that will significantly expand the capacity of the dealership. The open-concept showroom spans nearly 6,000 square feet, providing an ideal environment to display a broad selection of vehicles from the exciting Mercedes-Benz, AMG, Sprinter and smart product line-up.
A state-of-the-art service area features four fully-equipped service bays and one oversized bay designed to accommodate Sprinter vans. This will provide sufficient capacity to further improve processes and better serve the after-sales, parts and accessories needs of valued customers. In addition, a 2,200 square foot drive-thru will provide customers a convenient vehicle drop-off or pick-up area that protects them from inclement weather.
The overall layout of the entire facility follows the trademark Auto Haus design concept, featuring extensive use of glass to promote transparency throughout the building. This signature design also guarantees a consistent brand identity for each dealership in the company's cross-Canada network, regardless of location.
