Media Advisory - Government of Canada to announce funding for improvements to Arctic ground search and rescue

ANTIGONISH, NS, Aug. 26, 2025 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join Anthony Housefather, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience, accompanied by Dr Andy Hakin, President of St. Francis Xavier University, and Dr Peter Kikkert, Associate Professor at St. Francis Xavier University, for a funding announcement about the Government of Canada's efforts to improve Canada's search and rescue system.
