Media Advisory - Ontario Nurses' Association Members to Join Thunder Bay Pride Parade
THUNDER BAY, ON, June 16, 2017 /CNW/ - Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) registered nurses and allied health professionals will show their solidarity tomorrow as they join in Thunder Bay's Pride Parade.
The front-line members will be joined by staff on Saturday, June 17 at noon in Thunder Bay.
ONA continues to be a strong supporter of Pride and human rights and equity. The group will be waving ONA flags and proudly marching as Pride celebrations get underway.
ONA is the union representing 64,000 registered nurses and allied healthcare professionals, as well as more than 14,000 nursing student affiliates providing care in hospitals, long-term care, the community, public health, clinics and industry.
