Media Advisory - Harry's 8K & 5K Spring Run-Off to Conquer Prostate Cancer races into High Park April 4th

37^TH Annual Run will benefit research at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and celebrate the 10^th anniversary with Harry Rosen.

TORONTO, April 1, 2015 /CNW/ - Harry's Spring Run-Off 8K & 5K to Conquer Prostate Cancer celebrates its 10^th anniversary on Saturday, April 4^th in Toronto's High Park – having raised nearly $3 million for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

As the city's oldest, continuously-held road race, the 37^th annual spring run-off is steeped in tradition and features a cavalcade of more than 4,400 runners, many 'suit'-ably attired, honoring Harry Rosen while aiming for the 'best-dressed' prize. It's a great day for families to cheer-on loved ones as well as see our youngest philanthropists in action at the Children's Run.

WHY:	One in seven men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their life time.  The good news is more than 90% of prostate cancer cases are curable if detected and treated in their earliest stages. Men over the age of 45 are urged to speak to their doctors about testing.
