Media Advisory - Grand Opening of YVR's Expanded Domestic Terminal Français

RICHMOND, BC, Jan. 12, 2015 /CNW/ - Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is opening its doors to the newly expanded Domestic Terminal. This is the first significant infrastructure project completed as part of YVR's 10-year gateway strategy to help connect British Columbia to the world. The opening event will include speeches, the illumination of the featured First Nations art piece and the introduction to impressive new space, features and retail tenants.

This event has limited access due to security restrictions. Media wishing to attend must RSVP with name, outlet and title by 4:00 p.m. today to Media_Relations@YVR.ca. Media who have not received confirmation of RSVP spot will be unable to attend.
NOTE: As this event is taking place in the secure area of the terminal, media must supply valid government-issued photo identification and undergo security screening.

Please park in the short-term parkade on levels 2 or 3. Parking passes will be available upon return of security pass at media sign-in table.
