OAKVILLE, ON, Feb. 24, 2015 /CNW/ -

WHAT:

The Ford Oakville Assembly Complex celebrates the production start of the

all-new 2015 Ford Edge, which will be shipped to 100 countries around the

world including for the first time Western Europe.




The Oakville Assembly plant has undergone a retooling and transformation

into one of the most competitive and advanced global manufacturing plants

in Canada. Oakville Assembly will also announce increased hiring in addition

to the 1,000 employees announced in 2014.

Thursday, February 26, 2015

  • Press conference start time – 9:45 a.m.
  • Photo-op and ceremonial drive off the end of line follows press
    conference

Road). Look for "Media Parking" signs. Plant lobby entrance is next to

the three flag poles.
