TORONTO, Jan. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - Good fortune has shone on Ontario once again - there is a single winning ticket sold in Brampton from the Friday, January 17, 2014 LOTTO MAX draw. The ticket is worth $50,000,000.
Also, a ticket sold in Oakville is sharing part of the second prize pool with three tickets sold in Western Canada and one ticket sold in Atlantic Canada. These tickets are each worth $258,510.50. Also ENCORE tickets, worth $100,000 each, were sold in Toronto and the Guelph Region.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2 billion in prizes, including 32 jackpot wins and 189 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. ENCORE is also available on LOTTO MAX for $1.
Next week's LOTTO MAX jackpot will be an estimated $20 million.
