Kia Canada Inc. Reports 5,546 Sales In November

• Kia Canada November sales up 20.5 per cent versus 2015 
• Award winning Sorento and Sportage achieved best November YTD sales in Kia Canada history

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec. 1, 2016 /CNW/ - Kia Canada Inc. reported 5,546 vehicles sold in the month of November, up 20.5 per cent compared to 2015. Calendar year-to-date sales are up 4.9 per cent versus the same period last year with 67,468 total sales reported.

The month of November marked Kia Canada's best year-to-date sales results for Sportage and Sorento carlines. Sorento has achieved 14,642 total sales year-to-date, up 8.5 per cent year over year. With a 74.6 per cent increase over the same period last year, Sportage achieved 10,642 sales year-to-date. The Sportage also achieved the best November sales on record totaling 1,120 units sold, representing a 100 per cent increase versus 2015.  

The month of November also witnessed strong sales for the Soul carline, which includes the award winning Soul EV, with sales totaling 1,018 units. The Forte compact line-up also experienced strong November results with 987 units sold, achieving a 49.1 per cent increase versus November sales in 2015.
