MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 11, 2014 /CNW/ - Kia Canada Inc. (KCI) is pleased to announce today the appointment of Min Kun (M.K.) Kim as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Kim provides over 28 years of experience to his new position including a variety of job responsibilities within both Kia Motors Corporation and Hyundai Motor Company.

Mr. Kim most recent position was with Kia Motors America in Irvine California where he served as Chief Executive Coordinator starting in July 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Kim served as President for the Middle East and Africa Region for Kia Motors Corporation in 2012. Additionally, Mr. Kim served as President and CEO for Kia Motors Australia from in 2010.
This is Mr. Kim's second position he has held in the Canadian market. For over five years, Mr. Kim served as Deputy General Manager at Hyundai Auto Canada in Toronto starting in 1995.
