MONTREAL, Oct. 23, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - On October 29, the sixth and last edition of Free BIXI Sundays for the 2017 season will take place. BIXI rides of 30 minutes or less will be offered free of charge all day for you to take as many trips as you'd like.
To celebrate the last Free BIXI Sunday of the year, the Beaubien and du Parc cinemas would like to invite BIXISTS to come down for a special showing of the film "Loving Vincent" on October 29 at 7pm. It's an exceptional film about one of the greatest artists of all time. This unique film is the first full-length feature animation painted entirely by hand. The acclaimed film was referred to as a visual miracle at the prestigious Annecy Film Festival.
To get your free ticket to attend one of the showings, grab a BIXI and head down to one of the 5 Manulife valet stations listed below on October 29 between noon and 4pm:
- Mont-Royal metro
- Jeanne-Mance Park (George-Étienne Cartier monument)
- Atwater Market
The showing at the Beaubien cinema will be in French while the one at du Parc cinema will be in English with French subtitles. Movie tickets will be given out on a first come, first served basis!
To help you get around more easily, there will be BIXI Manulife valets on site at two stations near each cinema to help bixists with their bikes from 5:30pm until the showings are over.
