TORONTO, Sept. 17, 2026 /CNW/ -- Marking a new chapter for Équité Association, Heather Masterson assumes the role of President & Chief Executive Officer. Heather Masterson succeeds inaugural President & Chief Executive Officer, Terri O'Brien, who is retiring after leading the association through its formative growth and establishing its position as a national leader in combatting insurance crime.
Heather Masterson joins Équité with more than 30 years of insurance experience, including executive leadership, in the Canadian property and casualty (P&C) industry; most recently, she served as President & CEO of Travelers Canada. As a founding member of Équité's Board of Directors, she brings a deep understanding of the association's mission, membership, and strategic vision.
