MONTRÉAL, April 7, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Bell Media's Astral Out-of-Home division is proud to unveil the finalists of its fifth edition of the CARTE BLANCHE FOR CREATIVES competition. The finalists now enter the second phase of the competition beginning today through Wednesday, April 9.
"Once again this year, we are thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of the pieces and the uniqueness of the various concepts submitted in each city," said Nathalie Doré, Vice-President, Marketing and Innovation, Bell Media. "The Carte Blanche for Creatives competition reveals the genuine talent of new and established creatives and agencies across Canada."
Since the competition launch in February, agency creatives have been submitting their pieces on carteblancheforcreatives.ca for the creative community to vote. Now, the most popular pieces from the three participating markets – Montréal, Toronto, and Vancouver – have been short-listed for the second phase of the competition, beginning today.
In the second phase, a jury comprised of a representative from the creative team of each participating agency will vote for the final winning pieces. The winners of the CARTE BLANCHE FOR CREATIVES competition will be announced at events to be held later this spring in the three cities where the campaigns will be featured.
The clients of the winning pieces will win a fully-paid Astral Out-of-Home campaign, while copywriters and artistic directors will have the opportunity to attend the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
