Annalisa King Elected Chair of Vancouver Airport Authority
One of Canada's most respected business leaders set to lead YVR
RICHMOND, BC, May 13, 2019 /CNW/ - Vancouver Airport Authority's Board of Directors has elected Annalisa King, an award-winning business executive, as Chair of its Board of Directors. Annalisa replaces Mary Jordan, upon the end of her term, whose guidance as Chair since 2010 saw YVR through an incredible period that established the airport as a world-class hub.

Annalisa brings a strong background in strategic planning, corporate finance and business transformation to YVR, with a career that spans over 25 years and includes a range of C-Suite and senior-level positions for some of Canada's most well-known brands. She was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer of Best Buy Canada Ltd., Senior Vice President of Business Transformation for Maple Leaf Foods and Director of Finance for Kraft and Pillsbury Canada. She has extensive governance experience including her previous role as Chair of Vancouver Airport Authority's Governance Committee and her current roles on the Boards of Saputo Inc., First Capital Realty (where she is incoming Chair of the Governance Committee) and the North West Company.
Annalisa has earned significant recognition throughout Canada and is well-known for her dedication to business excellence, thought leadership and diversity. She has been inducted into Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Hall of Fame, she was recognized as BC's CFO of the Year in 2012 and in 2019 she received a Peak Award honouring Women in Finance for her significant board contribution.
