Vegan Social Events Presents: The Toronto Vegan Social Pop-Up, Thursday, September 6th, 2018

TORONTO, Sept. 4, 2018 /CNW/ - Vegan Social Events is back with the 3rd annual Toronto Vegan Social Pop-Up in support of Wishing Well Sanctuary. This exciting event will bring together influencers, media makers, the community and local companies for delicious vegan food, drinks, eco-friendly shopping and more. This event will be held at 918 Bathurst from 7:30 - 10:00 pm. Guest speakers including: Candice Hutchings of The Edgy Veg, clothing designer Jacky Wasserman of BEETxBEET, and The Sustainable Duo.

More than 25 vendors will be joining the event to showcase vegan, eco-friendly products, including many locally-made items. There will be no shortage of delicious vegan food and drinks, including complimentary pizza supplied by Panago Pizza. Every ticket includes a $10 Fresh Restaurants gift card, a certificate for a complimentary Avocado Caesar Salad from Il Fornello's new vegan menu, and a $5 Panago Pizza gift card. The event will also feature swag bags full of vegan goodies worth over $100, and a silent auction with 100% of the funds raised being donated to Wishing Well Sanctuary.

This event is proud to feature special guest speaking engagements, including vegan YouTuber and cookbook author Candice Hutchings of The Edgy Veg. Candice will be speaking about the essential ingredients for a well stocked and supplied vegan kitchen. This event will also feature Carly Bergman and Brenden Fitzgerald of The Sustainable Duo who will speak on leading a more sustainable life, and Jacky Wasserman of BEETxBEET who will speak to making the switch from fast fashion to ethically-made clothing.

Vegan Social Events is a special events platform created by Avra Epstein, founder of the popular blog Love Wild Live Free. Avra has gained a dedicated following and is passionate about inspiring others to live a sustainable vegan lifestyle. In September 2016, Vegan Social Events hosted the first ever Toronto Vegan Social Event. This event brought together influencers, media makers, and local vendors in celebration and support of the thriving Toronto vegan scene. This event was unique to the vegan community and well received by all who were involved. Since then, Vegan Social Events have completely sold out with lineups out the door.
