TORONTO, Jan. 13, 2016 /CNW/ - The third week of January (17-23) has traditionally been "Non Smoking Week" in the province of Ontario. Vapor Advocates of Ontario state that Vaping Isn't Smoking, and will continue this campaign during this time.
Smokers across Ontario who are no longer interested in smoking will be given access to a free vape starter kit and e-liquid with the exchange of their current pack of cigarettes.
To launch this initiative, MPP's from across the province are invited to The Ecig Flavourium (114 Queen Street East) to participate in a learning session where we will demonstrate the many aspects of vaping. We want to give our MPP's an opportunity to ask questions, learn about vaping, and the industry they are regulating.
VAO is a group of people who prefer to vape rather than smoke cigarettes. VAO wants the Ontario government to understand that vaping is NOT smoking and should not be regulated without broader consultation with its stakeholders. There are over 500 businesses in the vaping industry across Ontario. These businesses employ thousands of quality-oriented staff that provide a valuable service for the tens of thousands of Ontarians who are looking for a safer alternative to smoking.
