Univar Solutions Announces Leadership Evolution
President and Chief Executive Officer, David Jukes, will transition into the role of Executive Chair effective July 1, 2026
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., May 7, 2026 /CNW/ -- Univar Solutions LLC ("Univar Solutions" or "the Company"), a leading global solutions provider to users of specialty ingredients and chemicals, today announced a leadership evolution that supports the Company's continued growth and strategic transformation. As Univar Solutions continues to focus on creating value across all segments of its business, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, David Jukes, will transition into the role of Executive Chair.
Effective July 1, the Executive Chair will work closely with the leadership team and the Board of Directors to provide strategic oversight, ensure continuity, execution, and support long-term enterprise priorities. This transition reflects the Company's confidence in its leadership bench and its readiness for the next phase of value creation.
The organizational evolution aligns Univar Solutions around distinct, customer-focused segments:
- Chemical Distribution & Services: Led by Chief Executive Officer, Robert (Bob) Craycraft and focused on bringing together a full portfolio of chemistries with a robust global logistics network to provide best-in-class, local service.
- Ingredients + Specialties: Led by Chief Executive Officer, Nicholas (Nick) Powell and dedicated to serving targeted industries with a premier portfolio of specialty chemicals and ingredients supported by a global network of formulation labs and test kitchens to solve technical challenges and help bring better products to market, faster.
- ChemPoint: Will continue to help suppliers and customers uncover new opportunities for growth through on demand creation and multi-channel digital marketing campaigns for a wide range of chemicals and ingredients.
Each Chief Executive Officer will report to the Board, reinforcing accountability and strategic clarity.

As a result of this evolution, Nicholas (Nick) Alexos will transition from Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to becoming a member of the Univar Solutions' Board of Directors.
