MONTREAL, Sept. 16, 2026 /CNW/ -- UNIQLO, the global apparel retailer from Japan, announces the reopening of its renovated UNIQLO Montreal Eaton Centre store on September 18, 2026. Six years after opening its first location in Quebec, UNIQLO has gained strong customer affinity for its LifeWear apparel and philosophy of clothing. The Quebec Flagship refresh will elevate customer experience, showcasing a large collection of LifeWear items, and featuring upgraded changing rooms, sales floors, ceilings, mannequins, lightboxes, and digital screens.
For the first time in Quebec, the store update also brings two new ways for customers to personalize UNIQLO items, available only at UNIQLO Montreal Eaton Centre. With the UTme! service, customers can design and print their own T-shirts and canvas totes in store or pick from designs inspired by Montreal favourites like Le Petit Dep, Bossa, Paperole, or September Cafe. Meanwhile, the RE.UNIQLO Studio will offer on-demand embroidery, so customers can add details like your initials or Montreal-themed designs to their new UNIQLO items. The embroidery is done quickly and added right onto tote bags, T-shirts, and sweatshirts. RE.UNIQLO Studio also enables customers to repair their favorite LifeWear items in store to keep wearing the clothes they love for longer.
To celebrate the flagship makeover, UNIQLO has planned a weekend of festivities for the community, limited in-store offers, and a commemorative UNIQLO x Paperole Montreal tote Bag–available with purchase of $99 or more for in-store shoppers (while supplies last). The reopening celebration will include a taiko drum performance by Ame no Ato and complimentary mini sandwiches from Bossa and iced coffee from Le Petit Dep.
September 18, 2026, Schedule:
9:15 am – Customers will receive mini sandwiches and coffee (for first 300 customers)
9:25 am – Host Welcome, Taiko Performance and Speeches
10:00 am – Doors Open to Customers
