TORONTO, June 1 /CNW/ - Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) today reported May sales of 17,879 Toyota and Lexus cars, trucks and SUVs - down 16.1% from May 2009. Last month's sales included 16,461 Toyota models (down 16.6%) and 1,418 Lexus luxury vehicles (down 10.6%).
Highlights for Toyota in May 2010 (versus May 2009):

- 58 Toyota Avalon (up 132.0%)
- 275 Toyota Prius (up 42.5%)

Highlights for Lexus in May 2010 (versus May 2009):
