VANCOUVER, July 25, 2012 /CNW/ - With affordable housing issues and cost of living on the rise, more Canadians than ever are finding themselves faced with the all-too familiar dilemma - urban or suburban. But families coast-to-coast who are battling between urban and suburban are finding help from the lively brother-sister real estate team of Philip DuMoulin and Sarah Daniels in the second season of Urban Suburban. Produced by Force Four Entertainment, the new season premieres with back-to-back episodes on Tuesday August 28 at 8pm ET/5pm PT on HGTV Canada.
This season real estate experts Sarah and Philip continue to face off as they guide families through urban and suburban houses - competing to find each family their perfect location, price, and home. Philip champions city living, while Sarah reveals the perks of life in the suburbs. Family feuds aside, Sarah and Philip continue to put the real estate needs of Canadians first in order to find the perfect home.
"We are thrilled HGTV Canada is set to air twenty-six more episodes of Urban Suburban," says John Ritchie, Executive Producer & Partner at Force Four Entertainment. "More than ever, the urban versus suburban dilemma makes for entertaining television and season two will provide viewers with even more insight into the process couples go through with this fascinating home-buying decision."
Filmed in major cities across Canada, Urban Suburban truly represents a national dilemma. Potential homeowners in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax encounter the same problem, although each city has their own characteristics to take into consideration. In the end a choice must be made, and after visiting six houses with Sarah and Philip, each family must choose just one home - but will it be urban or suburban?
