KIEL, Germany, Dec. 3, 2014 /CNW/ - From today LaserSoft Imaging offers its individually adjusted professional scanner software SilverFast 8 for EPSON's new scanner devices Perfection V800 and V850 Pro. Professionals make use of SilverFast 8, because it significantly increases Dynamic Range and also productivity. In combination with the SilverFast Archive Suite 8, both scanners are suitable for high-quality and fast image archiving.
For achieving best image quality, millions of users rely on high-end scan software SilverFast 8. Also for the new EPSON scanner models, the ideal alignment of hardware and software leads to a verifiable gain of efficiency and image quality.
The most important criterion for the image quality of scanning results is Dynamic Range. Independent tests have shown that SilverFast Multi-Exposure® is able to increase these scanners' Dynamic Range about almost 5.000 grayscales (from version SE Plus 8).
SilverFast's NegaFix® functionality provides more than 120 specially adapted film profiles for the conversion of film negatives into positives.
The Epson V800 Photo already comes with SilverFast SE 8, the Epson V850 Pro includes SilverFast SE Plus 8. With an inexpensive upgrade to premium versions Ai Studio 8 or Archive Suite 8, you can benefit from additional highlights such as automatic IT8 Calibration and JobManager. Having a batch scanning functionality including automatic frame detection, both scanners are ideal for archiving large image collections using SilverFast's own HDRi RAW data format. An optimal basis for an effective lossless ("non-destructive") image optimization workflow.
Additional information and the upgrade to Ai Studio 8 for a special launch price of 79,00 EUR (SE Plus) and 99,00 EUR (SE) can be found on http://www.silverfast.com/v800-v850.
