New rewards app will deploy invitation-only beta in Toronto in July 2016
TORONTO, July 11, 2016 /CNW/ - Royaltie, the most lucrative rewards program ever created, has announced that it will launch a beta version of its mobile app on an invitation-only basis in Toronto in July 2016.
The Royaltie program, which provides its users 10% rewards on all their health, fitness and beauty purchases, breaks the mold of traditional rewards programs by being the first to offer a customer-centric, rather than a business-centric, approach to earning rewards.
Traditional rewards program can be described as "business-centric" because they allow businesses or financial institutions to place restrictions on a program member's ability to earn rewards. With Royaltie, there are no such restrictions. Royaltie members will earn 10% rewards at every health, fitness and beauty business in Toronto, regardless of whether the business is enrolled with Royaltie, and regardless of method of payment. For this reason, Royaltie believes that it is the first truly "customer-centric" rewards program ever created.
Royaltie members will earn rewards, called "Royalties," in their Royaltie account. Members can then spend their Royalties just like cash at participating health, fitness and beauty businesses.
Royaltie began approaching businesses in early June to gauge interest, and has been overwhelmed by the response. Already, more than 500 leading health, fitness, and beauty businesses in Toronto have enrolled, and more than 100 continue to sign up every week – even before the application has been released to any users.
"The number one priority for business owners is attracting new customers, and Royaltie helps them do that," said Justin Belobaba, Founder & CEO of Royaltie. "Unlike other marketing alternatives like Google or Facebook, Royaltie's business model eliminates the large upfront cost of advertising. And unlike deal sites like Groupon, Royaltie's rewards-based model ensures that every new customer has a proven spending history on health, fitness and beauty. High-quality new customers at no upfront cost – that's exactly what small business owners want."
Royaltie is currently completing internal testing of the app. The beta version will be launched in Toronto in July 2016 by invitation only. Royaltie plans to make the app available to the public on iPhone and iPad in August 2016, and on Android in October 2016.
Following the Toronto launch, Royaltie will expand to New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in the fall of 2016.
