Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien III announces creation of DGC Capital with Françoise E. Lyon as President and Managing Partner Français
MONTREAL, Oct. 23, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien III is proud to announce the launch of DGC Capital, a private investment firm that seeks to promote innovative, high-potential companies in the information and communication technologies, technology, and advanced manufacturing sectors. The firm will be headed by Françoise E. Lyon, a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience in finance.

Françoise E. Lyon boasts an outstanding track record in creating and managing highly successful teams. She has held executive and senior management positions with renowned companies in the finance sector, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, National Bank Financial – Wealth Management, National Bank Financial Group, and more recently Pembroke, a Canadian boutique firm where she headed the private wealth management division with over $1 billion in assets under management.
Ms. Lyon has long advocated for the advancement of women in finance and the arts, serving as President of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts' Women of Influence Circle, a project she initiated to bring together women patrons who value the presence of women at the MMFA. She sits on the board of directors of the Association of Quebec Women in Finance and is also President of the International Women's Forum Leadership Foundation, which is based in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Lyon graduated from HEC Montréal in 1993 with a bachelor's in business administration and from McGill University in 1998 with a degree in public relations management. She completed a business studies exchange program at Bath University in England and has held the title of chartered administrator since 1996. In 2013, she received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her longstanding support for women in finance.
