| What? Organized in collaboration with Ville de Montréal's Bureau du design, this multidisciplinary landscape architecture competition aims to provide the Borough of Saint-Laurent with a biodiversity corridor concerning a 450-hectare area. This competition was open to landscape architects, biology and ecology specialists, designers and other architects across Canada. This is the first time that a competition has been held for a biodiversity project in Québec. |

| Why? For the past fifteen years or so, the Borough of Saint-Laurent has been at the forefront of innovation in terms of the environment and sustainable development. This corridor project therefore adds to the list of its achievements in this regard. |
