New and Improved 'Guaranteed in Stock' Program returns to Blockbuster Canada

Movie fans can now get their favourite new releases, in both DVD and Blu-ray

TORONTO, Nov. 9 /CNW/ - Blockbuster Canada has reintroduced the popular 'Guaranteed in Stock' program, now available for the first time in Blu-ray. "At Blockbuster research has told us that the majority of Canadian movie renters come in looking for specific new releases and they want to know that you have it.  The 'Guaranteed in Stock' program does just that, it ensures that customers can rent new releases on the day they are released." Barry Guest,VP and General Manager of Blockbuster Canada.  In the event that the 'Guaranteed in Stock' movie they are looking for is not at their local Blockbuster when they arrive, they will receive a credit which allows them to rent that same movie in the same format for free on their next visit. 

Recent initiatives like 'Guaranteed in Stock' and the Favourite's Pass are ways to demonstrate to Canadians that they can get their home entertainment from Blockbuster Canada when they want it.

A few of the upcoming new release titles that will be included in the 'Guaranteed in Stock' program are:

• Grown Ups starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Chris Rock
• The Expendables starring Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham and Bruce Willis
• Eclipse starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner
• Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt
