MONTREAL, April 18, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - On April 23, volunteers from Montreal's Blue Collar Union (Syndicat des Cols Bleus regroupés de Montréal SCFP-301/FTQ) will be participating in a fundraiser in 17 métro stations to support the Accueil Bonneau. They will be collecting money in the morning from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and at midday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A press briefing will take place at 8:30 a.m. at the Berri-UQAM station (access from Saint-Denis street entrance), near the surveillance office. Mr. Michel Parent, president of the Syndicat des Cols Bleus regroupés de Montréal SCFP/FTQ, and Aubin Boudreau, executive director of the Accueil Bonneau, will both accompany the volunteers for this annual fundraising event. They will be available for interviews.
Members of the press are invited to the briefing and to all métro stations where the fundraiser will take place.
Volunteers will be collecting money in the following stations:
