Media advisory: The Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec welcomes Harry Moser, founder of the "Reshoring Initiative" Français
MONTREAL, March 13, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The Fédération des Chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ) invites journalists to a conference entitled Réindustrialisation et exportations aux États-Unis: une nouvelle perspective et des opportunités pour les PME québécoises. Presented as part of the FCCQ's Trade Corridors series, the event will welcome Harry Moser, founder of the "Reshoring Initiative," to Quebec for the first time.
The conference will be presented twice: on Wednesday, March 19, at 5 p.m. at HEC Montréal, and Thursday, March 20, at 8 a.m. at the Centre communautaire et culturel Thérèse de Blainville.

On the program:
- Harry Moser, one of the masterminds behind "Reshoring," a major initiative that has influenced many large American companies to relocate their manufacturing operations to North America, will discuss the benefits of this new phenomenon (in English).
- Louis Duhamel, strategic advisor at Deloitte, will give a brief overview of the findings of a study on the phenomenon of reindustrialization and shed light on opportunities for Quebec companies.
The presentations will be followed by a reception attended by Andrew C. Parker, US Consul General in Montreal.

Thursday, March 20, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

- Yan Cimon, associate professor with the management department at Université Laval, will speak about economic trends and outlooks in the US in 2014.
Luncheon presentation: Andrew C. Parker, US Consul General in Montreal (presentation will be in English).
