Media Advisory - Office of Auditor General of Ontario to Release Four Special Reports

TORONTO, Sept. 24, 2025 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, Auditor General of Ontario Shelley Spence will release the following four Special Reports:

• Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care Program
• Home Construction Regulatory Authority
• Report on Progress to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions
• Skills Development Fund – Training Stream

An embargoed copy of the Report will be available to accredited media by request. Please contact [email protected] before noon on Monday, September 29, with a copy to [email protected] to request an electronic copy.

For an embargoed hard copy of the report, please send your request to [email protected] with a copy to [email protected] by Friday, September 26 before noon with HARD COPY REQUEST in the subject line. Copies will be available at the Legislature outside the Media Studio on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. for those who requested them.

The Auditor General will be available to media at the Queen's Park Media Studio at 11 a.m. to deliver remarks and answer questions.

The reports will be under embargo until October 1, at 11 a.m. ET.

The Special Reports will be available on our website at www.auditor.on.ca once it is tabled in the Legislature, which we are expecting to be at 11 a.m.
