Media Advisory - Hydro Ottawa marks 25th anniversary of supporting Special Needs Day at Capital Fair Français
OTTAWA, ON, Aug. 15, 2025 /CNW/ - Hydro Ottawa Limited will partner with Capital Fair to host Special Needs Day on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. One of the most memorable days of the year, this event gives people with disabilities a chance to enjoy the fair and all it has to offer, including food, entertainment and the largest midway in the National Capital Region. This will be Hydro Ottawa's 25th year supporting the event.
Since 2001, the utility has worked with Capital Fair to make Special Needs Day a reality. This year's private event will feature live entertainment, a BBQ lunch and a sensory-friendly environment, which includes smaller crowds and slower rides to ensure every guest enjoys the experience.
