Media Advisory - Toronto Maple Leafs begin 10 days of spirit

WHAT: The Toronto Maple Leafs open their 2009-10 regular season Thursday with a game against Original Six rival, the Montreal Canadiens. Fans are invited to a free pregame tailgate party presented by Ford to help kick off the new season.

    
    Leafs fans are encouraged to head down to Air Canada Centre early to join
    the festivities which include player and alumni appearances, the Leafs
    Nation Mobile Fan Zone and a live concert by The Trews.

    Thursday also marks the beginning of the Leafs 10 Days of Spirit. From
    October 1 to 10 fans can follow the Leafs Nation Mobile Fan Zone every
    day, collect Leafs spirit cards and enter them at mapleleafs.com for a
    chance to win a 2009-10 Toronto Maple Leafs prize pack.
