The Jarvis students will then be encouraged to record their own videos where they rap about their plans for furthering their education after high school. The most popular video recorded at the school, based on online votes, will win that student rapper a netbook portable computer.
The visit is part of the Ontario colleges' provincewide advertising campaign promoting the options available in higher education. The campaign, called "It's all about M.E.," encourages students to pursue the postsecondary programs that best suit their interests and strengths.
