Media Advisory - Dwayne De Rosario and Jamaal Magloire to help celebrate opening of East Scarborough Storefront tomorrow

Toronto FC player Dwayne De Rosario and Toronto Raptors alumnus Jamaal Magloire will join East Scarborough Storefront, and Toronto Community Foundation on Wednesday, August 20 to celebrate the launch of the first multisport court developed through a partnership between Canadian Tire Jumpstart and the MLSE Foundation. The celebration will also include a community barbeque and sports clinics for local youth hosted by Toronto Raptors and Toronto FC development coaches. |
Together with Jumpstart, the MLSE Foundation funded the court's resurfacing, painting and the installation of retaining walls and sports nets. This newly refurbished court will now give over 300 local youth the opportunity to play soccer, basketball and hockey in a safe space. |
