March Break with the Toronto Marlies

TORONTO, March 14, 2015 /CNW/ - This March Break, the Toronto Marlies are opening their doors to families across the Greater Toronto Area by hosting several events at Ricoh Coliseum. From free family skates to action-packed hockey games including Star Wars Night, this March Break will be one to remember for families who spend it in the city.

Free Daily Skates

  • Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation and the Toronto Marlies invite families to Ricoh Coliseum during March Break for free daily skates.
  • Please note: Ricoh Coliseum does not provide rentals or skate sharpening and children under 12 years of age are required to wear a CSA approved helmet.


Monday, March 16 – Thursday, March 19 from 12 – 4 p.m. daily

Star Wars Night

  • The Marlies will take to the ice Friday night against the Lake Erie Monsters.
  • Friday night marks the first Toronto Marlies Star Wars Night with several live characters from the 501st Legion Canadian Garrison on hand during the game.
  • Game presentation will include Star Wars themed contests, intermission on-ice activities, music and giveaways.

Saturday Afternoon Fun

  •  The Marlies continue to battle for a playoff spot on Saturday against the Rochester Americans.
