Guaranteed $10,000 Prizes Won in 21 Ontario Communities
TORONTO, March 22, 2015 /CNW/ - Several Ontario residents are waking up winners this morning! Winning tickets for two of the six guaranteed $100,000 prizes available in the Saturday March 21, 2015 LOTTO 6/49 SUPER DRAW were sold in the province – one in Brantford and one in the Ottawa area. Also, 21 of the 49 guaranteed $10,000 prizes were won in Ontario.
In addition, one ticket sold in the Niagara area containing five of the six winning numbers in the selection is worth $398,650.30. Plus, two winning ENCORE selections worth $100,000 each were sold in Toronto and St. Thomas.
Since LOTTO 6/49 was launched in June 1982, Ontario players have won more than $10 billion in prizes, including 1,299 jackpot wins. As of March 14, 2015, there have been 3,250 LOTTO 6/49 draws.
