LeoNovus Signs LOI with Ionics EMS Inc. to Roll Out Geo-Distributed Cloud Services in the Philippines

Feasibility Study Completed with Move Forward Outcome

SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 7, 2015 /CNW/ -- LeoNovus^® Inc. ("LeoNovus") (TSXV: LTV), a leading Internet developer with its geo-distributed Cloud Services, announced today it has entered into a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Ionics EMS Inc. to roll out its geo-distributed cloud in the Philippines. Ionics is the Philippines leading electronics manufacturing-services provider listed on the Philippines Stock Exchange. With a successful 41-year track record in the industry, Ionics offers OEM and ODM services that includes product design and support, new product introduction, industrial engineering, manufacturing systems, and integrated supply chain management.

The two companies are currently working on the details and intend to sign a definitive agreement following the development of a roll out plan. Ionics has recently completed its feasibility study on the program with a go-forward outcome. Ionics has telecommunications partners in place and has identified customers that are in need of cloud storage and computing.

LeoNovus has released a new product called the Enterprise Service Node (ESN) that will support local in-country control of these cloud resources. This is ideal for Ionics, enabling them to manage cloud customers directly. The ESN connects into the LeoNovus Intelligent Cloud to receive and sync updates but can operate locally for purposes of handling customers directly, while reducing latency for better quality of service in country.
