Landy Awards 2016: AOD Marketing is Proud to Represent Canada in an International Competition

MONTREAL, le 27 sept. 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - AOD Marketing has been named as one of the finalists in the 2016 Landy Awards – presented by Search Engine Land – that takes place on September 28th in New York City. Nominated in the Best Retail Search Marketing Initiative, the Montreal agency will be showcasing their Canadian accomplishments in this international competition. They are competing in the category for their work with the famous outdoor gear company Fjällräven Canada.
What are the Landy Awards?
For the second consecutive year, Search Engine Land has organized the Landy Awards in conjunction with the Search Marketing Expo (SMX) conference. The organizers of the SMX conference, the industry's most notable event, decided to launch the competition to recognize outstanding achievements in the world of digital marketing, and more specifically that of organic and paid search marketing campaigns. For their second year, they received approximately 200 submissions from around the world.
AOD Marketing's Nomination
The Canadian agency AOD Marketing is one of five finalists in the Best Retail Search Marketing Initiative category, nominated for their mandate with Fjällräven Canada. The results for the Swedish brand are convincing, with a 117% increase in organic traffic to the brands website and a 170% increase in organic traffic to the Kånken backpack product pages. AOD Marketing will have the opportunity to boast about being one of the only independent Canadian agency competing against large marketing companies on an international stage.
