TORONTO, Nov. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - KPMG in Canada has severed ties with Clean Energy BC (CEBC) over its unauthorized release of a draft study by KPMG.
The report was released to members of the media and other parties without KPMG in Canada's express written permission as was required.
"KPMG in Canada has not issued its final report, nor have we consented to any communication or distribution of that report. We highly regret that CEBC has acted the way that they have."
"This has left us with no option other than to terminate the engagement immediately and to disassociate KPMG in Canada from the unauthorized release of the draft report."
- William Thomas, CEO of KPMG in Canada
