PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 9, 2015 /CNW/ -- Journey Sales, a leading provider of innovative customer engagement solutions for sales professionals, announced the closing of a Series A funding round. Led by MissionOG, the round included participation by Ray Lane, a Partner Emeritus at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, NewSpring Capital, and Dublin Capital. The investment will be used to accelerate the company's growth and customer success with its expanding base of enterprise clients.
"Senior executives and sales leaders have been looking for a means to better engage with their customers, ideally from within a CRM system," said Bill Butler, CEO, Journey Sales. "We designed Smart Rooms to solve this exact need for companies of all sizes. The additional capital will enable us to deliver our digital selling and customer engagement solution on a much larger scale."
Since launching in 2014, Journey Sales has experienced tremendous adoption by companies ranging from large, technology consulting enterprises and financial services firms, to smaller B2B technology firms that seek a competitive advantage.
Journey Sales' flagship product, Smart Rooms, is the first customer engagement platform built natively on Salesforce®. Organizations use Smart Rooms to teach their prospects about their solutions and company in a personalized, secure, and digital manner. Additionally, they can objectively analyze their own sales effectiveness.
"Journey Sales is executing on a vision that is transforming how companies sell digitally," added George Krautzel, Managing Partner of MissionOG. "The message we heard from customers was Smart Rooms increase customer engagement and provide valuable data to support sales decision-making."
