MONTREAL, Feb. 24, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Cancer Society invites the media to the Canadian Cancer Society's Great Spin, a spinning activity that raises money to fight cancer during which cyclists GIVE IT ALL THEY'VE GOT!

- Nadège St-Philippe, weather presenter on TVA, colorectal cancer survivor and spokesperson for the Great Spin will join cyclists and give it all she's got from noon to 1:00 pm. She will also announce the results for the event.
- Cancer survivors, a researcher and a CCS representative will be available for media interviews.
- Cameramen and photographers will be able to record footage or take photographs.
- Alone or as a team, participants will be spinning for four hours. They will be led by a trainer and encouraged by energetic music with the support of volunteers.
| In 2017, 12 Canadian Cancer Society Great Spin events have been planned at various Quebec venues. Some 900 participants will raise $275,000. In DDO, the goal is to raise at least $20,000. Some 60 cycling fans will participate. |
