MONTRÉAL, May 5, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - You hear more and more about coaching. And International Coaching Week (ICW), to be held from May 18-25, 2015, is the best time to hear even more about it. For the occasion, Lumen, the leading distributor of electrical material will be acting as a "spokesperson". Five years after the implementation of a coaching program in their organization, Dominique Dupont, Vice-President, business partner, HR bears witness. As she so eloquently puts it: it is when employees come knocking on your door and ask to be part of the coaching program that you can start measuring its success. You can hear about the rest of their coaching program's inspiring success on social networks and on ICF Québec's website. During ICW, local Chapters of ICF Québec associate with groups of entrepreneurs, professionals or managers and line up a series of activities aiming at increasing the visibility of coaching and its impact on both a professional and personal level.
"The Coaching Experience" comprises of activities during which participants have the opportunity to experience coaching with different coaches through sessions that last approximately 30 minutes each. Accredited coaches from ICF Québec offer their expertise free of charge for the occasion, for the benefit of groups of business people.
The goal of International Coaching Week, created in 1999 by Jerri N. Udelson, MCC, is to inform the public of the value of working with a professional coach and to make the results and the progress achieved known throughout the entire process of coaching. Over the course of ICW, coaches from all over the world are invited to offer a wide variety of pro bono services and activities in their respective communities so as to share the impact of coaching.
Join us and experience coaching
