Wild Rose Brewery is thrilled to be releasing the new Ponderosa Gose into Alberta. This brew is perfect for the craft beer fan who wants to enjoy something special and for those who want to experience the taste of the tropics in Alberta.
Our brewers developed this beer during the cold Albertan winter, thinking of warmer days. The Ponderosa pine may be the closest thing Alberta has to a tropical palm tree, but we wouldn't want it any other way. Ponderosa Gose (goh-ZUH) is an irresistibly refreshing wheat beer brewed with passion fruit, salt and coriander. Pale, tart and unfiltered, this brew is your party pal in tropical Alberta. You can experience the Alberta tropics from a 473ml can or a fresh pint around Alberta.
"We're really excited for this beer, it was specifically designed to be crushed in the warm summer weather," states Brian Smith, Director of Brewery Operations at Wild Rose Brewery.
This new offering of 473ml cans is due to the overwhelming demand in the Alberta market. Big cans (or as some would call them…Tall Boys) are one of the fastest growing segments in our markets and we now are excited to be releasing one of our new brews into the wild in them.
This deliciously refreshing brew will be released into the wild May 5th, 2017.
